Kids learn to plan, share, and carry out play ideas in a fun small group environment! We offer high quality occupational and speech/language therapy within the natural context of a social group. Participants engage in sensory-motor activities while working on social communication and emotional regulation with peers.

Groups are facilitated by highly experienced, licensed clinicians who draw from a set of established methods including: DIR® Floortime™, SCERTS® Model, Social Thinking®, Story Grammar Marker®, Alert Program, and Zones of Regulation®.

- Engaging in extended reciprocal interaction (each child takes at least 4 turns) in conversation with a peer;
- Responding appropriately to changes in partners’ expression of emotion by remaining in the interaction;
- Collaborating and negotiating with peers in problem solving;
- Using language strategies to regulate arousal level in new and changing situations (unexpected outcomes, novel activities, transitions);
- Using logical sequences of actions in play about familiar events;
- Taking on a role and cooperating with peers in dramatic play.
